Franco was amazing but I think maybe that most actors would be given this role. Despite this, it is a good story - albeit it that the protagonist in the drama bought it on himself.

The Best Film of 2010 in my opinion. This is the most inspirational movie I have seen. The soundtrack is just terrific. I really think this should have won the major Oscars (much better than The King's Speech).

James Franco gives an amazing performance in this extremely raw film. Not for the faint hearted however but well worth the watch.

what was about to happen, it compelled me to stick with it. The amputation scene was not a gory as I thought it would be. So overall, still worth a watch.

Great movie, was reluctant to watch (we all know what happens hey) but ended up hooked to the end

Yikes. Beautiful scenery, early suspense very well done and nothing boring about the remainder of the film which takes place in just the one setting (of course!). Amazing story about an amazing person.

Ok movie, did not enjoy sharing the hallucinations with Franco.
I would have liked to have seen a brief interview with Aaron at the end of the movie to make it more real.

to our kids ,not to go away on your own without letting someone know where you are and when to expect you to return.

Well acted, breathtaking scenery, good music, little bit hard to watch in certain parts (I'm not great with blood, knowing it was based on a true event!!) worth a look!
