This is a very dark movie, it shows how a wonderful person can loose the battle of life in one day, at times boring but keeps you thinking "what if"
Wade Whitehouse is frightened to death of following in his father's footsteps.
Haunted by a past dominated by brutality and anger, Wade Whitehouse is a man on the edge. Divorced, barely employed and stuck in an isolated town, Wade sees his life heading down the same alcoholic road as his violent father...until his quiet little town is shattered by the death of a big city union official during a deer hunting trip led by Wade's best friend. While everyone wants to write the incident off as an accident, Wade suspects his best friend is guilty of murder.
Solving the crime is Wade's last opportunity to redeem himself in the eyes of the town, his girlfriend, his ex-wife, his daughter, his father - and most of all - himself. Instead, hell-bent on justice, Wade's fury devastates the town around him and puts him on a road from which he can never turn back.
