Obviously attempting to show the aftermath of a high school shooting and how it affected the lives of various people who one way or another were connected either directly as in the mother and brother... Read more
of the killer, the head teacher who took over after the shootings, the owner of a gun shop and his grand daughter who worked in his shop and attended the school etc.I found the movie to be quite disjointed. Wasn't enough to keep us interested and we gave up watching it half way through. Perhaps we should have stuck it out as it may have started to make more sense towards the end. Not a movie to watch when tired I guess.

This film is very thought provoking and extremely well acted and written. In fact my only criticism would be the way it leaves most of the storylines hanging at the end when you know that so much more... Read more
is about to happen to the characters from that point on. I guess that is what was intended and this film is only meant to give a brief insight into gun use in america, making sure the viewer knows that these issues are constant and one gun incident doesn't ever stop being an incident for those involved.

I'd heard this movie was really good - thought-provoking and along the lines of somthing like "CRASH", but I was very disappointed. Although the acting was superb it really felt like the movie went... Read more
nowhere and did nothing. It is about gun use in America and seems to be centred around a Columbine high school style shooting but not enough explaination is given to many of the events happening to certain characters and you are left guessing most of the time.

later. This film is about guns, and tells intereaving stories of a few different characters, who were all affected by a school shooting massacre at the local high school 3 years ago, including the mother, and brother of one of the shooters, a police officer who was first on the scene, as well as other characters like the new principal of the high school, a current student who lives in a rough area etc. The scenes of each story are supercharged with drama and emotion, and with reality, allowing the viewer to understand and appreciate the message being sent. There is no clear guns are good or bad message, instead the viewer is left to decide that for themselves, by seeing the effects guns have. Well worth a watch.
