New Zealand Film And TV Awards

After the decline of the AFTA New Zealand Film and Television Awards in 2003, The Screen Director’s Guild of New Zealand (SDGNZ) consulted with the industry and formulated plans to resurrect the premier awards event. The all-new combined format and judging process has so far gained the backing of the some of the biggest names in the business, including Peter Jackson. The SDGNZ goal is to establish a sustainable and highly credible awards event that celebrates the craft and creativity of those who make our best television and film.
