A lovable tale of a deer coming to age. This truly is a classic that all the family can enjoy. Great storyline.
Like Tarzan 2 it is a prequel. It is quite quite nice to how Bambi deals with peer pressure and growing up without his Mum. There is something, I am sure, in this movie that all parents can relate... Read more to, and the kids love to see thumper, flower and gang as kids growing up.
Kids enjoyed it very much. Full of action and adventure. Another good movie to keep the kids quiet on the week-end.
Great movie. Kids loved it. I believe this is better than the original with all Bambi's old friends and great graphics.
Bambi 2 not quite as good as the original but it can still be recommended.
My 3 year old boy was enchanted by this movie. He loves the animals' personalities (still talks about them), and did some laughing out loud. Not much violence or sadness in Bambi 2, which is a relief... Read more - Bambi 1 was pretty sad, if my memory from childhood is correct.
Bambi and the Great Prince of the Forest was actually really sweet. Read more like for example the Huns coming over the lip of the great wall of snow in Mulan - but it was emotionally genuine and visually quite lovely. The forest and meadow were really environments, not just backgrounds. If you are not morally opposed to Disney video sequels, I think you would actually enjoy this one.
Children aged 3 to 10 were surprised by how much they enjoyed this movie. It was sad, funny and had a good story line.
