Passable enough time filler, I guess, but kind of tedious and so formulaic I got bored, despite what I suspect was a mammoth special effects budget and good performances. Sorry guys, spectacle is no substitute for plot and good dialogue.

I think some may be missing the tongue-in-cheek aspect of a lot of this movie and I felt that the 'formulaic-ness' of it mentioned in another review was quite intentional and played well. Another plus was that the aliens were possibly the best imagined and unique that I have seen in a long while (and 10 times better than the one in 'Super 8'). I guess though that if you're not a fan of sci-fi, and just don't 'get it', I would stay away from this one... I loved it, however :-)

Didnt know what to expect as husband loves cowboy movies. Very pleasantly surprised and really enjoyed it. Even husband said it wasnt a "too dusty watch"

Silly. I fell asleep. It appears that Daniel Craig is just taking the money now! Avoid.

I was pleasantly suprised. Really enjoyed movie. Who would have thought a classic western format could be mixed with aliens..??!! Watched twice.

Don't bother, lame lame lame. Ridiculous plot that is not explored because if it was you would realise there was really no plot there at all. best part of the movie, Bond taking off his top. Indiana Jones does old and grumpy very well too ;)

At first I thought a movie with such a name couldn't be any good. However, it turned out to be solid entertainment. Really enjoyed it.

This turned out to be better than expected. Though when you are expecting very little it is easy to be surprised. The title basically sums up the story and plot, but with your brain turned off this is a fun distraction of a film.

Silly premise,very enjoyable,bad bugger Aliens after gold this time around,not to be taken seriously,Craig & Ford always watchable,sit back & enjoy the ride
