Thoroughly enjoyed this DVD. And what made it even better was that it is a true story. Not enough people in the world like this teacher. Wish I had her for a teacher at my school. Highly recommend this movie to all types.

Very enjoyable, well acted and brilliantly scripted film. Based on a true account of a teacher in a downtown Los Angeles school, trying to get through to the 'difficult' kids. Inspirational. Highly recommended.

Wasn't expecting great things from this movie, as I'd seen Dangerous Minds which is basically same topic, but this movie was quite good. A feel good movie for when you need to remind yourself that there is good out there somewhere.

Great movie. Hilary Swank is awesome as the idealist who manages to get through to her troubled "bad thug" students. And transform them. Worthy. Feel good movie. Inspiring.

enjoyed this movie, it is a shame there are not more teachers like her. Would recommend this movie.

A wonderful story this teacher put her life on hold to help these children. She is inspirational to all.

Half way through I thought that I was watching Dangerous Minds. Similar storyline but very touching. It's a good chic flick :)
