A Family Comedy Without The Family.

Eight-year-old Kevin McCallister (Macaulay Culkin) has become the man of the house, overnight! Accidentally left behind when his family rushes off on a Christmas vacation, Kevin gets busy decorating the house for the holidays. But he's not decking the halls with tinsel and holly. Two bumbling burglars are trying to break in, and Kevin's rigging a bewildering battery of booby traps to welcome them! Written and produced by John Hughes (101 Dalmations), this macap slapstick adventure features an all-star supporting cast including Catherine O'Hara and John Heard as Kevin's parents, Joe Pesci and Daniel Stern as the burglars, and John Candy ("Planes, Trains and Automobiles") as the "Polka King of the Midwest."

Fun fun fun! I watched this together with my 3 young grandsons, and got as much pleasure watching their reactions as watching "Kevin" - loved the bathroom scenes! A funny movie, and well worth the re-visit!

Go Kevin, you rule dude. The first and second movies were great, they changed the kid in the 3-4 movies and it just wasn't the same. This film is full of slap stick humour, good for a lazy afternoon... Read more

My 7 yr old son was in hysterics at the antics of "Kevin". "You know mum, he's a really smart kid, the adults didn't stand a chance"

An oldie but a goodie for the kids. A whole new generation will enjoy these movies over and over again.
