Wonderfully creepy picture of how the corporate high life unravels when the global financial crisis first hits a (fictional) Wall St. bank. Cast and direction both great but the story lacks any final... Read more point. Better to watch the documentary "Inside Job" for more facts and more drama around this time in history.
Boring, but what would you expect from a movie about glorified accountants sucking the blood from the corpse of society. If I could give it no stars I would so disregard the half star. I'm going back to indie and foreign movies. big stars do not a big star movie make .
Really liked this movie, the cast is fantastic and its well directed.
I really enjoyed this movie. The plot was a little dry at times but the acting and script were superb. I felt like I'd watched an acting master class from Kevin Spacey.

To say I hated this movie is an accurate statement. Although the actors played their characters well I had no sympathy for the blood-sucking overpaid financial characters. It was slow to start, slower... Read more to get going and ended with a whimper. In the end there was no point to the movie and I found it a waste of good money. I wish I had those 103 minutes back.
A quiet, unsettling build-up to the scariest bomb of our time. And they never even show the fallout, which is interesting, because it's left to our memory of the event. Excellent.
See the GFC from THEIR point of view. Well-played drama with tight script and all-star cast.
