Somewhere inside all of us is the power to change the world.

Matilda (played by Mrs Doubtfire's MARA WILSON) is an extraordinary young girl who had the misfortune of being born into a family that doesn't appreciate her and a world that doesn't understand that kids can be powerful too. But she's about to discover that a little magic can go a long way...and that you don't have to get mad, to get even! Filled with special effects, loads of laughs and tonnes of imagination, Danny DeVito's MATILDA is classic entertainment that adults and kids will enjoy and treasure forever.

Usually really like de Vito but this wasn't as good as 'Twins' and some of his other classics.

This movie is another one I have seen when I was little. Pam Ferris is very scary in this one but all the other actors were really good.

Absolutely love this movie! A real good kids movie, especially for the girls and a good family movie too! I can watch this over and over and never tire of it, and so can my girls!

I smell the blood of an Englishman, a modern fairytale to remind us of our childhood. If you like pantomines you'll love this. Sad bits, happy bits, scary bits, funny bits and a little food for thought.

This is a really enjoyable adaptation of the Roald Dahl classic. To me it really gets the darker side of his stories and everyone puts in a great performance. Like all RD stories the adults can enjoy this as much as the kids.
