If you enjoyed this one you¿ll like ¿Paycheck¿ with Ben Affleck, or ¿The 6th Day¿ and ¿Total Recall¿ with Arnold Swarzenegger.This is about free will versus determinism. Tom Cruise ends up shooting the person he has been predicted to kill, but by accident - a cop-out in my opinion.

scientists hiding information which does not further their cause, which dilutes the question of whether knowledge about future criminal behaviour should be used to take out the future criminals before they have done anything - a scary but important question.I liked the visuals in this film, but otherwise I thought it was soft-edged and milky.
A great movie. I don't like sci-fi stuff but this had me watching till the end.
This was a very futuristic movie, with good special effects of travel in the future, but enough human interest to not be pure science fiction.
This movie is too full of bad offensive language.

This is one of many in a long line of movies that i just think to myself, why did Hollywood bother? i think that if anyone should have turned this into a movie it should have been peter chung. and it should have been animated.

movie does get slightly predictable, which made me give the 4 stars. Tom Cruise has done a great job of the hunter becoming the hunted. The special effects deserve 5 stars - they werre amazing. There's an exciting futuristic car chase with cars moving on vertical surfaces and cops who can literally fly. It is not the kind of movie you will think for days after watching but while watching, it is definitely very entertaintaining.The first 1/2 hour finds you debating whether to turn it off as you attempt to understand what is happening. The plot does improve and become clearer and although not a memorable film - enjoyable enough for a Wednesday night viewing.
Awesome movie and Colin Farrell's first one, I think. A good villain; a good hero; a great beginning, middle and end. A must watch. This one is not to be thrown aside.
I don't like Tom Cruise much. But I figured with such a good plot and Steven Spielberg directing, this movie couldn't be bad.... It was so bad, it was worse than my decision to see it.

never gets out of first gear and not even one string is pulled on the tension bow. Relies too much on graphics and Tom Cruise is simply not good enough to carry the movie by himself.
