His stripes made him an outcast. His heart made him a hero.

During a fierce thunderstorm in rural Kentucky, a young zebra is accidentally left behind by a travelling circus. He is found by former champion horse trainer Nolan Walsh, and "Stripes" is quickly adopted as a favourite pet by his daughter, Channing. Now "Stripes" may not look like the other horses galloping across the fields, but he thinks he is no different and longs to race with all the thoroughbreds. So does Channing and, with some encouragement from his fellow barnyard animals, the pair embark on the unthinkable dream of racing in the ultimate: The Kentucky Open.Featuring the voice talents of leading Hollywood stars (Dustin Hoffman, Whoopi Goldberg, Mandy Moore, Snoop Dogg and more) this Babe-like box-office hit is an irresistibly funny and entertaining tale about overcoming adversity, aiming for the impossible and triumphing against all odds.

Absolutely great movie, suitable for the whole family. Cool animations and grahpics. Nice story line too - always like a good ending.

This movie was ok for our 3 kids ranging in ages of 5-10 but lacked something extra. It was quite slow but definitely child friendly. Kids never asked to watch it again although we had it for 5 days.

Really enjoyable family movie. The kids loved it and it was one that my hubby and I could also sit down to watch without being bored. Definitely one that should keep the whole family happy, and laughing!

Heaps of fun. Love the live animals with animated mouths. Morals, Disney warm feelings and puts a smile on your dial.

A very enjoyable movie suitable for the whole family. Even though the story line was predictable it was very funny in parts and could easily be viewed more than once.

Well my 7 year old son says he enjoyed it, particularly the exciting race at the end. I didn't see much, only a younger (jailbait) version of the girl who plays the cheerleader in Heroes.
