My all time favoutie movie was even better a second time, and I'd see it again and again. It's one of the 'classics' of its time. Not everyone's kind of movie but if you like great acting/actors,... Read more

It is one of those movies where you need to concentrate to follow the storyline but it's well worth it. If you've tried to read the book (like me) and found it hard to follow you will appreciate the movie - it's easier but still requires some brain cells!

I'm all for romantic dramas, but I thought this film dragged on far too long and was trite. I couldn't see the relationships between the characters and the lead character "The Patient" was under-developed... Read more
, so for the whole movie I couldn't discern whether he was meant to be a misguided good guy or a villain. I had high hopes given all the hype of this movie but was disappointed.
