Its a movie about a fighter, which sounds quite violent. But it sadly isn't.

The movie was a really good look at the situation that mickey ward found himself in, over all compelling performances and a well crafted movie

This movie is a powerful view of what drug addiction can do to a healthy person as well as how someone from a dysfunctional and pretty messy family can rise above without leaving. The story was really... Read more
well presented and not surprisingly the acting was well done too. Worth watching! It's tragic and lovely and not too hollywood.

I'm a sucker for sports movies and this was one of the better ones. Bale was great as the druggie brother. Very enjoyable!

I thought the acting performances were exceptional. A good portrayal of a slice of life that we do not often see. My husband is a boxing fan and I am not but we both really enjoyed watching this movie.

understated. Not many films I'd give 5 stars too but this reminded me why boxing films rule.
