Its a movie about a fighter, which sounds quite violent. But it sadly isn't.

I'm a sucker for sports movies and this was one of the better ones. Bale was great as the druggie brother. Very enjoyable!

I thought the acting performances were exceptional. A good portrayal of a slice of life that we do not often see. My husband is a boxing fan and I am not but we both really enjoyed watching this movie.

TBH, I'm a bit over Christian Bale doing this sort of thing. Wahlberg, on the other hand, did quite well. It was all a bit predictable.
