Not a bad movie at all. An interesting mix of people, but it is a little weird mixing the likes of Alan Quartermaine with a vampire. It's also a little annoying how right at the end of a movie sometimes... Read more
they like to throw in something that doesn't really fit, just in case they decide to make a sequel.

Another excellent movie, love the caracters as a kid I grew up reading the stories of Quatermain, Nemo and Jekyll and Hyde.
Good special effects and I think it was well put together.

A slightly far-fetched story put together well in an all action mode. i quite enjoyed it from an entertainment point of view. Connery in action once again.

Sorry couldn't watch as they sent bluray dvd and don't have a flash dvd recorder to play it so will be sending this back again as hard to report this issue when 1st received and wanted replacement of dvd we can play...

Really enjoyed this with the kids. Good combination of action for the boys and then interest for the girls and some quite clever character utilisation for the well read grown ups.

This is a great movie, looks a bit old already; the characters are awesome and its neo Victorian style.

Although I wasn't sure what to expect, I found the movie to be lacking in any real sense of plot detail and action.

I will say one thing about this movie if you liked the movie "Van Helsing" you will like this one! Because that is pretty much what it is, exactly the same as the movie "Van Helsing". But still kept me interested barely.

his charater. Other charaters from stories written in that period join him to form the League. The movie itself has some fast action scenes interspersed with slow character building snippets. Unfortunately these only serve to confuse the viewer - then all of a sudden the film is over... If you like films like Wild Wild West, where amazing technology is revealed years before it was invented, then this is the film for you. If you're looking for a meaningly plot, rent Fried Green Tomatoes.

It was ok I guess - good movie and entertained me but could guess what was going to happen etc - overall I liked it.
