A great love story, you might cry with it, but it's worth it!! Not only for girls, I'm sure the boys will like it too, clever story and with a twist at the end. If you like drama movies you'll really enjoy it!

I found this movie very touching, totally love the way it was put together. For those who have never been in love, this movie makes you realize how much love can really mean to two people. I would definitely recommend this.

Loved it. This screen adaptation of Nicholas Sparks' bestseller THE NOTEBOOK is an engaging love story.... Great cast line-up. The acting is excellent, the story is told with restraint, and the cinematography is wonderful.

more into Allie and Noah's relationship; and then, finally, you realilse how deeply this couple have loved each other, and still do; although the ravages of senile dementia have meant Allie cannot show her total commitment to Noah as she would want. The Notebook can be watched over and over; certainly it is a film in the genre of romance; but it touches a chord deep in the heart of anyone who has ever loved.

Lovely story, very well acted, I kinda guessed who was who near the start but that was all good.
It was very cool and very sad.
Highly recommend, and my hubbie and 20yr son both liked it. !!

couple. The scenes from the pre-war and post-war period are great, quite authentic and puts the viewer right into that period. The main actors are superb, especially the character of Ally! This film is another example on how true love surpasses everything, even time and dementia....

Very slow and did not capture my attention. The quality of the DVD itself was poor and that might have detracted from my viewing experience. I did not bother to watch the entire movie.

movie apart. Very good for the tears it pulled, no pried .. i would go so far as to say it STOLE from me. I can't stand movies that try to hard to be a tear-jerker. Which is what this did. The acting was honestly quite atrocious. The only thing of appeal were the good looking lead characters, and that's all it required. The book had more feeling, so i suggest reading that instead.
