I enjoyed this film very much and didn't become bored, I felt the ending was a little weak, but overall entertaining.

Fair; the faults lying with Greene's tepid, sluggish source material rather than the production itself. Caine is solid as usual & as in Gods & Monsters, Fraser acquits himself surprisingly well outside his usual braindead ouvre. Watchable.

Wonderful adaptation of Graham Greene's novel about early American involvement in Vietnam. Its shot in Vietnam with great footage of HCM City (Saigon), the atmosphere is superb. Fantastic performance from Michael Caine.

This was disappointing, although I would love to see the original in order to compare the two. I found it very slow and the acting was rather stunted.
