2001 M Contains Violence & Offensive Language.

Nick Wells (De Niro) is an expert safecracker and master thief who has always lived by two rules: work alone and never do a job in your own city. He's about to betray both of them with the final and riskiest heist of his career. Nick's friend and financial partner, Max (Brando), has persuaded him to steal a priceless, antique sceptre locked behind the impenetrable walls of Montreal's Customs House. To do the job, Nick must join forces with Jackie (Norton), a cocky young thief with inside knowledge of the building - and a really bad attitude. Against his better judgement, Nick agrees to the partnership. Big mistake. They are a volatile combination: egos clash, tension mounts and the question of trust hangs precariously in the balance... Academy Award winners Robert De Niro and Marlon Brando team with Oscar nominee Edward Norton (Primal Fear, Fight Club) in the masterful crime thriller that will keep you transfixed and leave you reeling. De Niro sleepwalks his way to a pay cheque in this dispiritingly lazy and boring heist movie. Finally comes to life in the last ten minutes by which time I had stopped caring. Watch "Nine Queens" for a clever and engaging heist thriller.

really good suspense thriller. nice twist and easy to follow. norton is the man. Finishes a little bit early though and could of dragged on a bit in suspense

Brilliant! Brando was mesmerising to watch in this and brilliant performances by both DeNiro and Norton. Nice twist too.

Movie about a heist in which De Niro is the old hand experienced thief and Ed Norton the new boy. Not all is as it seems as you will find out. Good acting by both.

A heist movie classic. Only Brando's performance is weak, but his is a small part. The final scenes are particularly strong in terms of suspense and denouement..

A very good story line. The acting is also good. These two combined made for an enjoyable 2.5 hours.

I really enjoyed this movie. Definately liked the "kick" at the end. Acting by all was great and I would recommend this movie for any and all to see.
