of Sarah Conner (Linda Hamilton). She will in the future give birth to John Connor who will eventually become the leader of the rebellion against the machines and in the end will destroy SKYNET (the machine leader - a powerful computer AI system built by man and which turned on its creators) and bring peace. However SKYNET in an attempt to stop this sends back in time The Terminator (Arnie) to systematically elimiate every Sarah Connor in the LA area. John Connor also sends back a protector Reece (Michael Bhien)to ensure Sarah stays alive and there fore the future is secure. What follows is a staggering number of clashes between Reece, The Terminator, police and in the end Sarah herself. One of the great films of the 80s and the one that set the pace for action films to follow.
