Unless you are a Marvel Comics aficionado this might leave you a little disappointed. Some nice moments a but a flawed script and the lead is not good enough to carry it. Try Green Lantern.

The movie wizzes along with a short and predictable character arc for Thor but you don't watch this movie for complex character development. Watch it for the action sequences and the quirky sense of... Read more
humour. I also enjoyed some of the visual effects like the bifrost (rainbow) bridge. (Disclaimer: I am unfamiliar with the source material).

Not a bad movie but not one I could get into because there was no chemistry between the leading characters and the story was too disjointed. Blonde he-men may be cool in cartoon form but not in film. Still, it could've been worse.

A lot of wiz bang special effects but the script is dull and muddled. There is no chemistry between the leads and the dialog lacks any creative input. Disappointing considering the talent behind and in front of the camera.

It was ok. Very far fetched. Great sound and colour. I am not a great fan of science fiction but did enjoy it.

mad performance in Ironman if you want to see how it should be done). It's also visually drab and uninspired - which is kind of unforgivable, given the source material. Anthony Hopkins and Natalie Portman walk off with every scene they are in - which are too few and far between and kind of not the point in a Superhero Film adaptation.
