Welcome to Mooseport proves, again, that Gene Hackman can't do comedy. Neither can Ray Romano. They turned what should have been light, frothy fare into cold porridge. This film needed the cast of,... Read more say, Northern Exposure. Don't waste your time.
Very good. Not a great piece of cinema, but highly enjoyable
As much fun as eating a cheeseburger, without any burger in it, and not much bun.
Pleasant predictable American movie! Ramano's girlfriend was best actor I thought. Plot pretty fantastical American drivel, but hey, a little bit of fun on a dull day!
Ray Romano is always effective in his punchlines. The onscreen chemistry with Gene Hackman is good.
Did not expect this film to be as good as it turned out. gene hackman acted well.
Good intertainment with good actors.

was an ok movie, i found this to be boring and slow , and not really funny, and not worth recommending i think.
Really funny. Great cast too. A good family night in. A few shots of an actual baby moose called Bruce - he was a hit with us.
